Energy Subsidies in Germany

The German government has provided far more funding for fossil fuel and nuclear research and development than it has for renewable energies.

Conventional electricity generation has enjoyed 6.5 times more financial support from the German state than renewable energies of all types. Imagine how much better the health, environment, and economic situation of Germany would have been if this had been reversed.
